The story behind the name
Our home, made together.
Bayt Kita came from a desire to make connection feel more natural, creativity more shared, and community a little easier to find.
It started with a longing for somewhere to go.
Not a networking event. Not a room where everyone already knew each other. Somewhere softer: a place to arrive alone, sit down beside someone new and leave feeling more like yourself.
Bayt Kita—Arabic for our home—grew from that longing. We began with small creative circles and long-table conversations. Women came for the activity and stayed for one another.
Today, we’re growing an ecosystem of gatherings, ideas and resources that helps women build the kind of full, connected life that rarely happens by accident.
